Tanya was extremely prompt in responding to Whatsapp messages and gave us a fixed price to fit our itinerary.  Not only that, she was flexible when we asked to switch our days over with just 2 days to go. She also agreed to collect us 30 minutes later with late notice which meant we could enjoy a wonderful swim in the lake. Tanya’s Insider Secret: In peak summer, the biggest delay on this route usually isn't the border — it's Bled itself, where traffic can sit for up to an hour. We use a special local route permit to skip around it, so it doesn't cost you the time it costs everyone else stuck on the main road. Past that, I usually take the Loibl Pass rather than the Karawanken Tunnel — the tunnel queues in high season can reach 5 km, while the Loibl Pass costs us only about 10 extra minutes and comes with much better views.
